One of Medfield's most prestigious historic homes is ready for its new owner. Locally known as the Hannah Adam's house, as she was believed to have been born in the original wing of the home. In 1821 her brother inherited the home and tore down the main house and built the new addition. In 1913 the home was restored and upgraded by a Boston socialite and designed by Boston Architect E.T. Putnam. The home was published in Better Homes and Gardens soon after. The dining room, living room, library and several bedrooms have been lovingly preserved and match the original magazine photos, except for some kitchen upgrades including a Wolf cooktop and inset wood cabinets.
